full view please

this was mostly drawn in pencil, and i just added a few filters for the lighting, so i think this is more traditional then digital... or maybe not. i dunno...

these are the first two pages of my Danny Phantom doujinshi, 'Asylum', a story which takes placed roughly 13 years in the future, (and yes, the recent episode 'Urban jungle' is included in the timeline. because ice power is so stinkin' cool, no pun intended)

... i really can't say much about the story itself (partially becuase i just din't feel like it and partially because it is semi-improvisional), other then it started from me wanting to draw Danny... in a straitjacket. no, i don't know why. i just did.

i like long haired danny.

page1/panel1: the start of everything. origanally, he was sitiing on the ground with his legs streched out in front of him, which gave a better effect, but the perspective looked so bad no matter what i did, i switched to having him kneel.

pg2/panel1: i adore this panel. it turned out just how i imagined. and snce i am a perfectionist to end all perfectionists, this means i am really, really happy with this. the colors in his eye came out awesome

pg2/panel2: valerie doesn't look nearly old enough and the shading came out funny on the scanner, but i'm pretty much ok with it. yes, i only color in eyes and the things which glow brightly (ectoplasm, lights, ect.) i considered coloring the red part of valerie's suit, but it looked weird so i took it out.

so... i hope you like it! look forward to pages three-four (i will always post two at a time. this is my new project)
