ok, based off past experiance, i have figured out you can expect me to post a new update of this about once a week, although this is not garunteed.
page 7:
panel1: i think valerie looks a little too surprised here, but i can't remember exactly what i was trying to draw when i started this panel, so, meh.
panel2: i experimented with some slightly more dramatic lighting here and really like it. one of my better valerie based panels.
panel3: Danny looks rather cute here.
panel4: again, i think i didn't quite get the expression on Valerie's face that i intended to, but it still looks pretty good. i think the reason is that i had a few pages pre-designed to go after this one that i had to change because of extreme OOC-ness, and so it doesn't quite connect as well. i have a plan so it'll make sense later though...
panels5/6: i really enjoyed drawing these. they're cloes up and have extreme emotion. panel 5 is the first in the comic not to use rendered lighting. also, the extreme moodswings are back. seems Valerie hit a nerve of some type...
page 8:
panel1: danny's script for this entire page was awkward to write, becuase his traumatized stuttering kept coming out sounding like he was just nervous and hiding something, or else just plain stupid.
panel2: i'm getting beter at 3/4 behind views... valerie's actions here are a bit manipulative.
panel3: more fun expressions. poor danny doesn't want to be left alone agin
panel4: his expression was tough to draw right.
yeh. so, here's pages 7-8. wow, given that chapters are planned at about 20 pages or so, this means i'm almost half done with Ch1!!
