Oh hey, that's right, I have a journal thingy.
Been semi-inactive recently due to SCHOOL and COLLEGE APPLICATIONS AAAAAAAAAAAAH. And... I'm not done yet 8I. So, uh... Yup. Gotta bunch of fun projects planned to pump up my portfolio, and hopefully I'll be posting those as I finish them.
Generally doing better than I had been these days, even with the workload. Got over a bit of a weird insecurity patch that I think was season-transition related, and s'all good again.
Aaaaaalso, totally take a look at this ->

Sovereign City is an OCT aiming to open early next year. It's all about Superheroes (or Antiheroes and of course possibly some Super villains too) slugging it out to see who's gonna be the new Hero of Sovereign City (and maybe boost the city's struggling economy in the process, ateehee). It's looking to be a fun one and I recommend checking it out if you're looking for an OCT to join! Or hell, even just one to watch.
Also, 'tis still a bit of a ways off, but my next Kiriban is at 200k, so keep an eye out.
FInally, making a to-do list for my projects so I can start checking stuff off.
- ARARAR LAB REPORT ARARAR
- Finish reading Richard II
- Do 18 short comic strips to paraphrase Richard II
- Color my Secret Santa
- Finish my 2-sided piece for my RISD app (required art)
- Start and finish my 3-perspective comic for my RISD app (required art)
- Finish coloring the Kitten and Yoyo pic for my portfolio
- Do a turn-around drawing for a new character
- Do a couple turn-arounds/ concept art for various minor monsters
- Do two to four environment speed paints for my portfolio
- Do a finished painting of Maya and Max with actual proper backgrounds and such
- Do a finished painting of Anna, preferably with a proper background
- Clean up the photos/scans of larger stuff I've done at School and such.
Sounds like a lot but only the first six are REQUIRED and the rest is just stuff I'd LIKE to do, for the sake up pumping up my portfolio before I finish applying. Thank goodness for winter break, I'm gonna need it.
Oh, and Happy holidays and such! Etc, etc.
